Bryan Cranston Leaves Perfect Life In Wakefield Trailer
Wakefield is an upcoming drama directed by Robin Swicord, and stars Bryan Cranston and Jennifer Garner, as Howard and Diana Wakefield.
Howard Wakefield has the perfect life. He is happily married, has two daughters, a successful job as a lawyer in Manhattan, and a beautiful home in the suburbs. Everything seems perfect, until we hear him in the trailer talk about how suburban life becomes the same week after week.
One day he ends up snapping, and he decides to hide in his garage attic leaving his family. It’s quite peculiar as he narrates some of the changes, he sees as he constantly peeps into his home as he watches his family cope without him from afar.
In the trailer, we also see him talk about how far he may let this go, and that this may perhaps be how he becomes the man he was meant to be. In the trailer we see the contrasting snapshots of his dream life, and his life, living in an attic, growing out long hair and a wild beard.
It’s a very intriguing story as we see Cranston’s character unravel, and it looks like he’ll go through another incredible transformation, as he has in many of his other roles, like his Walter White, in Breaking Bad.
The film has already premiered last year in September at the Telluride Film Festival, and is scheduled for a limited release in a month, on May 19, 2017.
For all the music buffs, the beautiful and elegant music you can hear in the trailer is Claude Debussy’s Clair De Lune and you may have recognized it, as it was famously used in the final scene of Ocean’s Eleven.
