Jamie Lee Curtis Is Ready to Kiss Ass in “Halloween” Reboot

Steve Porter / June 8, 2018

It’s hard to be scared when it’s sunny and warm, but the new trailer for the Halloween reboot is here to give us a little thrill. Jamie Lee Curtis is back as Laurie Strode to kiss some serious ass and finally end serial killer Michael Myers. (We’re kidding, of course. He’ll be back at some point.)

Curtis reprises her role as the woman who first fought off the deranged killer in the original movie from 1978. She’s been waiting for Myers to escape for 40 years and is armed and ready. In fact, she wanted him to escape: “Do you know that I pray every night that he would escape?” Strode says, “So I could kill him.” Oh, damn!

Turns out Jamie Lee Curtis isn’t the only veteran who has returned to wreack their revenge, I mean, work on this movie. John Carpenter, the legendary director who directed (and scored) the original serves as executive producer and creative consultant. No matter how prepared she is, we’re sure Laurie Strode is going to have a tough holiday ahead of her.

Jamie Lee Curtis is ready, but are we? Check out the official trailer below. Halloween is in theaters on October 19.
