Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck Call Off Divorce
The two actors, both aged 44, announced that they were separating – one day after they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary – in June 2015. Fast forward to March 2017, and now a source close to Jennifer Garner has stated that Jen has called off the divorce. Another source close to the couple said that it was a mutual decision and that they both want to work things out. Things never “ended” bitterly, they both love each other and they both love their kids, and vice versa.
Recently, after the Oscars where Affleck joined Matt Damon on stage to present the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, Affleck and Garner celebrated their son’s 5th birthday (Samuel), with their daughters, Seraphina, age 8, and Violet, age 11. They held a small get-together at their home in Los Angeles and according to another source, everyone seemed happy. Despite their separated status, the pair have still remained close over this period, going as far as taking family vacations together, living together, and co-parenting their kids.

While the former couple (now reunited couple?) are currently seeing eye-to-eye, they were very close to getting divorced. It almost got to the point where Garner was about to file for divorce. During a strained period in their relationship, Jen was confiding with friends that she planned on filing for divorce. She was just tired from all the ups and downs.
Ben seems to be putting in the extra effort. When he spoke to PEOPLE in January, he enjoys taking his kids to school, having his kids know that he’s there for them – and that it’s a good feeling to have. It’s clear that Affleck doesn’t want a divorce, and now, it seems that Garner doesn’t want one as well.
