Suits Could Lose Both Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams

Shelby Chau / November 14, 2017

With Meghan Markle dating Prince Harry, a future as a princess seems much brighter than playing a lawyer on TV. And that sucks for fans of the legal drama, Suits, which airs on USA Network. It’s been a very likely possibility that the show would lose Markle’s character Rachel Zane due to her real life priorities, but now there’s rumblings that arguably the show’s most important star, Patrick J. Adams who plays Mike Ross, might also be leaving the show.

The on-screen legal couple are both now expected to leave as their contracts are up at the end of the 7th season. Although nothing is confirmed, reports have said that there are still discussions going on between the two parties. Losing Mike would probably be worse for the show seeing how he’s the legal prodigy in which the show is loosely based around (sorry, Harvey).

Since he’s been around since the beginning in 2011, Adams has directed four episodes and even received a SAG Award nomination for his portrayal of Mike Ross. If he does leave, he could still return in a limited capacity, which could mean as a director or recurring star. Without Mike and Rachel around, this means more screen time for Harvey Specter, Louis Litt, and Donna Paulsen, played by Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, and Sarah Rafferty.

How do you feel about Suits without Mike and Rachel?
