The Trailer For ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ Is Here!

In 2015, After years of development which started back in 2006 the world finally got to watch Ant-Man in theaters. This Action, Adventure, Comedy is Based on the Marvel comics created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby. Directed by Peyton Reed (Yes Man, Bring It on) and the screenplay was written by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay and Paul Rudd.

The movie stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang. Alongside Paul we had Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Michael Pena as Luis, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, Corey Stoll as Yellowjacket and more.



The film was released on July 17th 2015, had a runtime of 117 minutes – a budget of 142 million and grossed over well over $500 million worldwide. The film sits at a rating of 7.3 out of 10 on IMDB from the votes of 405,811 users and Rotten Tomatoes has it stamped ‘Certified Fresh’ with a audience score of 86%. Balancing your time and obligations as a father is hard enough, throw in being a superhero and Scott Lang’s life is further complicated. Ant-Man must team up with the Wasp and fight to uncover secrets about their past. The trailer opens with a beautifully wide shot of a city, we get some quick hazy flashes of the throw-down at the airport from Captain America: Civil War. Scott Lang speaks over the majority of the trailer, delivering this cryptic line: “I do some dumb things. And the people i love the most, they pay the price.



Pym (Michael Douglas) is up to his old tricks, seen in the trailer when he shrinks and entire building down to a block smaller than the size or a wheelie travel suitcase. It even has a handle on it. Judging by the trailer were in for some flashy science and gadgets. Lots of tension. Shootouts, fisticuffs, car chases, A Giant Ant-Man, One humongous Hello Kitty pez dispenser, Glorious slow motion and Shrinking. Lots of shrinking.



We’ve gotta say, we only get to see her as the wasp in a few clips but damn does Evangeline Lilly ever look like a badass!



Peyton Reed is back in the directors chair. The screenplay comes to us from: Chris McKenna, Eric Sommers, Andrew Barrer, Gabriel Ferrari and Paul Rudd. All the staple cast members from the first film are home again with some welcomed fresh faces.  On Jan 30th, 2018 the Marvel Entertainment youtube channel posted the latest teaser (it’s only 1:41 long) Ant-Man and The Wasp will hit theaters on the 6th of July.
