What Is The New Film “Baby Driver” About?
Baby Driver is a 2017 action crime thriller written and directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End). The film has a runtime of 1 hour and 53 minutes. After having his arm twisted by a criminal kingpin, a baby-faced getaway driver becomes intertwined in a heist that is doomed to fail.
They began shooting the film on the 17th of February, 2016, and concluded on May 13th of last year. The film stars Lily James, Jon Bernthal, Kevin Spacey, Jamie Foxx, and Ansel Ferreira. Baby Driver premiered at SXSW 2017.
On IMDB, the film has been rated by nearly 900 people leaving it with a score of 8.6 out of 10. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has 100% on the Tomatometer. Eric Kohn of Indiewire said, “It’s equal parts slapstick and visceral thrills, but never too far from a reality check.”
Others went on to describe the film as rhythmic, exhilarating, stylized, an accomplishment, speed-crazed, a blast, and a delightful masterpiece. Baby Driver is set to make its US premiere on the 28th of June, 2017, while those in the UK will have to wait till the 16th of August.
