California Wildfire Destroys Johnny Galecki’s House
Well, we know summer is here because the wildfires have started. The latest blaze started on Monday east of Los Angeles in Riverside County, California, and was still not completely contained by late Tuesday evening. It has covered around 1,500 acres and around 250 residents in the area were to evacuate at the onset, but CAL FIRE and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff have lifted the evacuation orders for all residents in the area last night. Nonresidents, however, were still restricted.
If you’re a fan of The Big Bang Theory, you’ll recognize Johnny Galecki as the geeky experimental physicist, Leonard Hofstadter. Yesterday, news from his spokeswoman, Nicole Perna, included info that his ranch home in the San Luis Obispo area was destroyed by the spreading wildfire.
Galecki was not present during the fire and is all safe and well. He did release a statement of his own and is relieved that no one was hurt.
Galecki, along with his Big Bang Theory co-stars Jim Parson and Kaley Cuoco, have become a very bankable trio as they hit the $1 million an episode mark in 2016. And while he shouldn’t hurt too much from the fire’s devastation, hopefully other area residents can say the same.
