Cristiano Ronaldo Wants To Leave Real Madrid, But Where Will He Go?

Arin Spits / June 19, 2017

It’s now public knowledge that Real Madrid superstar is furious at the allegations that he committed tax fraud and equally upset at his current club for not taking his side. While Spanish authorities will have to figure out if the forward is innocent or not, Ronaldo certainly expected more support from his team and supporters.

In 2009, Ronaldo left Manchester United for £80million, and he still has fond memories of the club he once called home and where he blossomed into a star. Although the Portuguese superstar has won back-to-back Champions League titles recently, he’s not too happy with how he’s been treated amid these tax evasion allegations. He’s accused of owing up to £13 million which stem from cases between 2011 and 2014. Prosecutors have stated that the now 32-year old had been purposely concealing his personal income with a ‘business structure’ formed in 2010.

When asked about these charges, Ronaldo simply stated, “I have a clear conscience.”

Fueling the upcoming transfer rumors are new reports that current Real manager, Zinedine Zidane, has failed to talk Ronaldo out of leaving Spain.

Aside from Manchester United, Ronaldo has also been linked to clubs like Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich.

Where will Ronaldo end up? Odds are most likely back at Old Trafford.
