Death On Deadpool 2 Set Leaves Crew Devastated
Her name was Joi ‘SJ’ Harris, and she was the first African American woman to work as a professional road racer. She already had an established career, but working on the set of Deadpool 2 was her first venture into movies.
In the events leading up to her death, Joi was on her motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet in order to portray the character Domino. She was riding, but at one point lost control and went across the street, hit a curb, and went airborne right through a glass window leading into the lobby of Shaw Tower.
News of her death have affected friends, family, and left Deadpool 2 star, Ryan Reynolds “devastated”.

Filming stopped immediately and there’s no word yet on when production on the superhero sequel will resume.
The death on Monday was only a weeks after another tragedy occurred on the set of The Walking Dead on July 12. John Bernecker suffered massive head injuries after he fell on a stunt gone wrong. His death was believed to be the first stunt-related death in the USA in over 17 years.
Our thoughts go out to all the loved ones affected by this tragedy.
