Durant Hits Dagger 3-Pointer In Final Minute For Warriors’ Game 3 Win
Growing up, any kid with NBA aspirations would practice clutch, game-winning, buzzer-beating shots to mimic their basketball idols. On Wednesday night, Kevin Durant hit one of the most important shots of the evening with less than a minute left and his Warriors team trailing by 2.
LeBron James found Kyle Korver in the corner with a chance to put the game on ice, but his shot found only rim and Durant went up to grab the rebound. Without hesitation, the former MVP dribbled up to the opposing side’s three-point line and calmly drained the shot over the outstretched arms of James.
The Cavs did all they could to win this game, but still, it wasn’t enough.
They did not hit a single shot in the final 3:09 of the game while Golden State used an 11-0 run to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
James poured in 39 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists – still averaging a triple-double over the series so far – which is godly, while Irving unleashed 38 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Cleveland should have won, they deserved to win. But it wasn’t to be. Just take a look at this ridiculous stat:
LeBron James was +7 in 46 minutes and his team lost by five. In a game of incredible stats, nothing touches that.

James rested for only 2 minutes the entire game, but it made a difference.
After the Warriors’ 118-113 win on Wednesday night to take a 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals. And while no NBA team has ever come back to win in the playoffs after being down three games to none, there were three occasions where teams have forced a Game 7. So, there is a chance.
And after what the Cavs accomplished last year, this series is not over till its over.
