First Trailer for Tupac Biopic ‘All Eyez on Me’ Looks Intense

We just got the first movie trailer for All Eyez on Me, the untold story about Tupac Shakur focusing on the life and career of the rapper, up until the fatal shooting where he died in 1996. We’ll see everything from the rise to super stardom, to his controversial time spent with Death Row Records and his imprisonment.



The intense biographical drama will show Tupac’s life and back-story from political beliefs to gang violence and it stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. as the Thug Life rapper, who even looks like the iconic and legendary rapper, actor, poet and activist.


This will be Shipp Jr.’s first main role on the big screens who is also accompanied by Kat Graham who plays Jada Pinkett, Dominic Santana who plays Suge Knight, and Jamal Woolard who reprises his role as Biggie Smalls from the biopic Notorious. The cast of the film also features two The Walking Dead stars, Danai Gurira who plays Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, and Lauren Cohan who plays Leila Steinberg.

The Benny Boom directed film will give a glimpse into the life of Tupac Shakur that fans have never seen before. All Eyez on Me will be released on June 16, 2017, which is Tupac’s birthday. This year he would have turned 46.
