Get An SNES Classic This September For $79.99

Steve Porter / June 27, 2017

Nintendo has gone back to the nostalgia route by revealing details about the upcoming SNES Classic, the follow-up to their extremely popular release of the NES Classic. Their next standalone mini console will bring to TV screens a total of 21 games which is headlined by The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Mario Kart.

Here’s a list of the 21 games you’ll get to play.

Contra III: The Alien Wars The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts
Donkey Kong Country Mega Man X Super Mario Kart
EarthBound Secret of Mana Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Final Fantasy III Star Fox Super Mario World
F-ZERO Star Fox 2 Super Metroid
Kirby Super Star Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting Super Punch-Out!!
Kirby’s Dream Course Super Castlevania IV Yoshi’s Island

Anything stand out to you?

Star Fox 2 is actually included which is a big surprise to many because it was an unreleased sequel to Star Fox.

If you can’t wait (like me), you’ll have to because it will only be released on the 29th of September for $79.99. Similar to the NES Classic, players will have no trouble playing these retro games on new television sets since it’s HDMI compatible. While the NES Classic was launched in the fall of 2016, it was notoriously difficult to get hands on the mini console due to unforeseen demand, but the company stated that they’re producing ‘significantly more units’ which would make finding a SNES Classic an easier task than its predecessor.

Will you get one? Let us know!
