New Fate of the Furious Trailer Looks Insane

Ben Migono / March 9, 2017

There’s a new trailer for ‘The Fate of the Furious’, and boy, it’s a good one!

Also known as ‘Fast 8’ or ‘Fast & Furious 8’, this is the upcoming eighth installment of the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise. The action packed trailer showcases more of the power behind the villainous Cipher, played by Charlize Theron. It also shows us a whole new meaning behind the term ‘vehicular warfare’, which was mentioned back in 2013, in ‘Fast and Furious 6’.

The F. Gary Gray film comes out April 14, 2017. This will be the first movie in the franchise that will not star Paul Walker, who died in a car crash back in 2013, during the filming of the most recent ‘Furious 7’. Despite the huge loss of the fan favorite Paul Walker, we will see the rest of the cast that we’ve come to know and love, including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Chris Bridges (a.k.a. Ludacris), Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel, and we will also see Jason Statham, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron.

The Fate of the Furious will continue to give us awesome new locations from around the world, this time featuring Atlanta, Cleveland, New York City, Mývatn, and Havana.

Gone are the days where the crew was street racing and stealing DVD players off tractor trailers on the highway, but now they’ll be dealing with hundreds of cars being controlled remotely, a submarine, and torpedoes. This is the world of the Fast and the Furious, where anything is possible. It’s a little out there, but I can’t wait to see this.
