New Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer is Kick-Ass

Ben Migono / March 28, 2017

We finally have a new full-length trailer for the upcoming superhero film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, based on the Spider-Man from Marvel Comics and created by Stan Lee.

This is the second reboot of the movie version of Spider-Man, the first being played by Andrew Garfield in 2010 and 2012, and the original being played by Tobey Maguire in 2002, 2004 and 2007.

The young kick-ass version of Peter Parker in this trailer stars Tom Holland, who appeared in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. This is a new reboot of the hero, showing Parker as a high school student who looks up to Tony Stark and the rest of the Avengers.

This movie takes place after the events in Civil War, where Parker must learn to balance his life as a student and as a crime-fighting hero. We see that he has some help from mentor, Tony Stark, but it will be up to the younger to discover himself even without his suit.

The film gives us a fresh new perspective from the other Marvel Hero movies, with this one from a high school student’s perspective, and the trailer shows us some funny moments with his best friend, Ned, who asks all these questions any teen would ask, and even tries on the Spider-Man suit himself!

We’re also given more behind the villain, Vulture, played by Michael Keaton, and his backstory, and we see the epic scene with Spider-Man who has to hold together a splitting freight ship.

Overall, it’s an exciting, and fun trailer with some awesome scenes of our friendly neighborhood hero kicking ass and we definitely can’t wait for the release on July 7, 2017.

The 20-year-old actor, Tom Holland is already set to appear in Thor: Ragnarok later this year, Avengers: Infinity War in 2018 and the Homecoming sequel in 2019.
