New Wonder Woman Trailer Shows More of Her Origin

The new trailer has just been released for the action adventure origin story of the legendary hero and demigoddess, Wonder Woman, based directly from the characters in the DC Comics. This film sets the stage of how Diana of Themyscira, became the Amazonian warrior princess and hero we know today.

 

Here’s the new official origin trailer:

 

 

The movie takes place after an American pilot (Chris Pine) crashes on the island of Themyscira, and the pilot tells Diana (Gal Gadot), about the world war that is going on, and Diana decides to leave her home to help in the fight and end the war.

 

 

This film is intended as the fourth installment of the DC Extended Universe and comes to theaters on June 2, 2017.

Lead Actress, Gal Gadot was born in Rosh HaAyin, Israel, and was at one point one of the highest earning models in Israel, next to Bar Refaeli.

 

The 31 year old beauty is not just a pretty face though. In high school, she majored in biology, after high school she studied law, and spent two years serving as an enlisted soldier for the Israel Defense Forces, and became a combat trainer.

Gadot rose to fame when she played Gisele in ‘Fast & Furious’ (2009), the fourth installment of the franchise, and returned in 2011 for ‘Fast Five’ and 2013 for ‘Fast & Furious 6’.

 

She also gave us a glimpse of her as Wonder Woman in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ (2016), and she’s signed not only for this upcoming ‘Wonder Woman’ film, but also the much anticipated, ‘Justice League’, set to come out November 17, 2017.
