The New Justice League Trailer Looks Epic

Ben Migono / March 27, 2017

The second official full-length movie trailer is out for Justice League and it looks epic. The first official trailer was released eight months prior at Comic-Con, so it’s exciting to get a bigger glimpse of what’s in store later this year.

The upcoming Zach Snyder directed superhero film is based on the Justice League from DC Comics. It’s also the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe, following the films, Man of Steel, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and Wonder Woman.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman who were both part of last year’s Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The movie takes place after said film, with Superman’s selfless act, sacrificing himself for humanity, inspiring Bruce Wayne to assemble a team of metahumans to face the new villains that threaten Earth, specifically alien, Steppenwolf and the Parademons, and one of DC’s biggest threats, Darkseid.

The trailer shows Bruce Wayne recruiting metahumans like Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa, Cyborg, played by Ray Fisher, and The Flash, played by Ezra Miller. We all know that the Justice League is popularized with Superman being the frontman, but so far in all of the trailers and promo materials, we have still yet to see Superman, who was last seen in his grave in Batman V. Superman.

However, in the trailer we do see Lois Lane, played by Amy Adams, who appears to be looking up into the sky, hinting at a possible Superman sighting. We also see Mera, played by Amber Heard who is Aquaman’s wife and the Queen of Atlantis.

The all-star cast of DC heroes is set to defend the Earth on November 17, 2017, when the movie is set to debut in theaters.
