The Spice Girls Sub Group ‘Gem’ Leaks New Song

If you didn’t know, three out of the five Spice Girls have reunited and created the sub-group, ‘GEM’, which is made up of the initials of the members. Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Brown (Ginger, Baby and Scary Spice) are back together and their first song, “Song for Her” has been found online.


Not much else has been announced though, so this is the only treat we get from the new spin-off group.


It’s got a modern touch without losing their infamous message of girl power. You can listen to it in the video below.



The Spice Girls first formed in 1994 and dominated the air waves with their 1996 debut single “Wannabe” and became an international phenomenon. They’ve establishing themselves as the best-selling female group of all time, and also one of the best-selling pop groups of all time.


At the end of the year 2000, the group went their separate ways to focus on their solo careers. After a 7 year hiatus, all 5 Spice Girls came back together for a 2007-2008 reunion tour.


The girls also reunited in August of 2012 when they performed at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics .


They launched this website back in July with a video celebrating the 20th anniversary of the hit that made them famous.
