WATCH: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Trailer

Steve Porter / December 18, 2017

The trailer for the newest Jurassic World follow-up film was dropped by Universal Pictures and we have our first glimpse of what could be the storyline for Fallen Kingdom.

There’s a few things that we can gather from the trailer. Bryce Dallas Howard returns as Claire Dearing and Chris Pratt reprises his role as Owen Grady and it looks like they’re on their way back to Isla Nublar, apparently to save the dinosaurs because the island is about the explode. Claire brings up Blue, Owen’s trained velociraptor from the first film, and there’s some scenes that shows Blue as a baby – I for one am looking forward to it

There’s a lot of scenes of land blowing up due to volcanic eruptions, and a lot of dinosaurs running. We get to see a tyrannosaurus rex save our leading character once again. One of the most significant scenes for Jurassic Park fans of old is the return of Ian Malcolm, Jeff Goldblum’s character from the original Jurassic Park film.

We’ll have to wait a bit longer before we see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in theaters. The next Jurassic World installment will be released in 2018 – on June 22, to be exact.
